Our Summer Development Camps are designed for athletes who want more than just reps. Each week delivers a focused, small-group training environment where every swing, throw, and rep is intentional and coached.

With a maximum of 8 athletes per hitting and pitching camp, players receive individualized instruction, real-time feedback, and measurable performance tracking using TrackMan and video analysis.

We also offer fielding camps with expanded capacity to build defensive confidence, footwork, and game awareness in a high-energy setting.

For athletes looking to maximize their development, our first two weeks offer a full-day training option combining hitting and fielding.

Spots are limited and camps will fill quickly.

Summer Camp FAQ

What age groups are these camps for?

We offer camps for baseball and softball athletes in the 10U, 12U, and 14U age groups, along with pitching camps for older athletes. Each week is designed to match the appropriate age and skill level.

How many athletes are in each camp?

Hitting and pitching camps are capped at 8 athletes to ensure individualized coaching and maximum reps.
Fielding camps are capped at 16 athletes.

What is the daily schedule?

Hitting & Pitching Camps: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM (Monday–Thursday)
Fielding Camps: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Monday–Thursday)

Athletes can combine hitting and fielding during select weeks for a full day of training.

Can my athlete stay for a full day?

Yes. During the first two weeks, athletes can bundle hitting and fielding to train from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

What does my athlete need to bring?

Athletes should bring:

  • Bat
  • Glove
  • Helmet
  • Turf shoes or sneakers (no metal spikes)
  • Water & Snacks, lunch if doing full day.

Do you offer beginner camps?

Our camps are best suited for athletes who already have some playing experience and are looking to improve their skills in a structured training environment.
For newer players, we recommend starting with private lessons.

Who will be coaching the camps?

Camps are led by the Brain & Barrel coaching staff, using the same systems and training approach used in our membership programs.

How do I register?

Registration is completed online through our GymDesk system. Spots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

What is your cancellation policy?

All camp registrations are final. Due to limited capacity and high demand, we do not offer refunds, credits, or make-up sessions for missed days.

What if my athlete misses a day?

Because camps are structured as a full-week program, we are unable to offer make-up sessions or prorated pricing for missed days.

Are camps indoors or outdoors?

All camps take place indoors at Brain & Barrel, so they are not affected by weather.
